General Electric's 'Unacceptable' Q3 2017 Results

Summary Points:

*GE's Q3 2017 results were nothing to write home about to say the least.

*Management provided updated 2017 guidance and plans to provide the *2018 framework in November 2017.

*The company's 'story' was just extended, but GE shares are still a long-term buy at today's price.

There is no denying that Mr. Flannery and team have a lot of work to do over the next few years. However, I believe that long-term investors should seriously consider staying the course because Mr. Flannery has some great assets to work with and he appears to have the right mindset to move this company past the Immelt era.
